MotoCrane RADICAL was developed to make the highest levels of remote arm performance accessible for compact cinema. So from the outset, we knew RADICAL had to be optimized for gyro-stabilization. During our extensive 18 month research & development stage, we tested several different designs, finally arriving at a driveline/software/sensor combination that delivers rock-solid arm stability on aggressive terrain.
High-bandwidth, high-accuracy
Using the smallest and lightest industrial attitude reference available- The INS2 sensor module features a fully calibrated and temperature compensated triaxial accelerometer and gyroscope to achieve the optimum combination of measurement qualities under all dynamic conditions. This results in fast, accurate and reliable arm angle readings.

Simple plug & play operation.
Every RADICAL comes standard with the necessary drivetrain components installed, so setting up up your unit for INS 2 is as simple as mounting the Sensor Module on your front boom, and plugging it in.
